Using Winter Coloring Pages in the Classroom

Who they're for

Bold outlines and big spaces to color suit preschool, kindergarten and the early grades. The last two are detailed pages for older students and adults.

Classroom ideas

  • Color them on indoor recess days when it is too cold to go out.
  • Use them in a winter animals unit: who lives where it snows?
  • Hang the finished pages together as a winter wonderland display.

Printing tips

  • Print all 16 at once with the Print all button, or download them as one PDF on US Letter or A4.
  • Open a page and add a name to put each child's name under the picture. Paste a class list to get one page per name in a single PDF.
  • The pages are black outlines on white, so they print well on any black-and-white printer.
  • Make as many copies as you need for your class. The pages are free for home and classroom use.
